What This Blog is About

Writing on a variety of subjects for the sake of furthering the "praise, reverence, and service" of God, this merry assembly of vowed men-in-formation from the Jesuit Province of English Canada can be relied upon to offer stimulating, informative, and edifying reflections for all people of faith and good will.

Who We Are

Eric Hanna, S.J. is from Regina, Saskatchewan. He is currently teaching philosophy and helping out with campus ministry at Campion College. He is an anime aficionado, a novel nerd, and a philosophy fan. John O'Brien, S.J. completed a master's degree in theology at Regis College, Toronto, and teaches at Corpus Christi College in Vancouver. He is interested in the effects of media on consciousness and spirituality, and blogs at Veritas Liberabit. In a previous life, he was a school principal.
Adam Hincks is an astrophysicist at the University of British Columbia. He is a member of the ACT and CHIME collaborations, both of which are observatories for learning more about cosmology. Santiago Rodriguez, S.J. was born in Colombia, and lived for a time in Florida before calling Canada home. He is currently working with the Apostleship of Prayer in Milwaukee, as well as doing young adult ministry throughout Canada and the United States. He is interested in politics, economics and social justice.
A Jesuit brother with a passion for social justice, Russian literature, music and much more, Daniel Leckman, S.J. is studying theology at Regis College, University of Toronto. Hailing from Whitby, Ontario, Artur Suski, S.J. recently completed philosophical studies at the University of Toronto. He currently does chaplaincy work at the University of Guelph and St. James Catholic High school in Guelph. He likes to study languages and he has played tennis at the international level.
Edmund Lo, S.J. was born in Hong Kong. He was a neuroethics research intern before joining the Jesuits, and currently teaches at Campion College in the University of Regina. He has a great interest in Chinese literature and origami-making.
